I'm a biology major, an IT geek with a MS in Information Security & Assurance, SF/F fan, personal finance nerd, nutrition / health geek, and mother to an adorable little girl and her baby brother, who is a devoted disciple of Chaos. My husband is a science fiction author, mostly published with Baen Books, and several of my acquaintances are long time SF/F fans, authors, and/or artists. My first short stories and poems published for general view were posted to VideoTel, when I was 8. A quarter century later, the voices in my head still insist I write, although I don't produce much poetry these days. My original fiction is typically fantasy with a side order of science fiction. However, I also enjoy dabbling in what-ifs for classic novels, such as Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice.
