John Legg

Though it might sound strange for someone who has published more than 60 Westerns, John Legg was born and raised in New Jersey. An Air Force veteran, he has traveled much of the West, having been a newspaper copy editor for more then 27 years in Phoenix. He works for a major newspaper’s editing center in Florida. He has a BA from William Paterson College (now university) in Wayne, N.J., and an MSJ from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Legg has two grown children and two young grandsons.
